Responsibilities
Develop and oversee programs across all BGC Fullerton locations that meet the three priority outcomes: Healthy Lifestyle, Academic Success, and Good Character & Citizenship
Oversee Literacy programming and Jr. NBA Program
Train staff members on the fundamentals of club programs, as part of their onboarding
Regularly evaluate, monitor, and create action plans for staff to achieve quality program implementation
Network with community agencies to create opportunities for partnerships for specialized programs
Research techniques and tools for program assessments, beneficial to program development
Collaborate with the Director of Resource Development to strategize grant initiatives
Work with Coordinators and Site Supervisors to discuss areas of improvement and best practices for youth development and programming
Complete grant reports related directly to club programs, on a quarterly basis
Promote the safety of all members and enforce all BGCF Policies and Procedures
Assist with organization-wide events or fundraisers (Auction, Golf Tournament, Youth of the Year, etc.)
Register on bgca.org and the EdApp for training opportunities and attend local trainings as requested
May be asked to facilitate and train YDP’s on a quarterly basis
May be asked to fill in as a Site Supervisor, Staff, or Driver as needed
May be asked to collect and compile monthly program reports
Assist with additional tasks as requested by the Director of Operations
Qualification
Required
1 Year of experience working with youth
Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, writing, public speaking, and management skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and to develop solutions to problems with limited supervision
Ability to travel to all sites as needed
Preferred
2 Years of experience working at a Boys & Girls Club
