Arranges patients for Magnetic resonance examinations

Produces MRI images to aid in the diagnosis of medical problems

Monitors and ensures safety of patient and all personnel prior to entering magnetic area

Performs patient screening by using established protocols for any ferrous materials and medical device history and for safe administration of contrast media

Utilizes departmental policy to perform safe operation of equipment and all functions of the job

Provides complete pre and post education to patients and family

Works under minimal supervision and may perform additional job duties
