Responsibilities
Responsibility for product development within a Lean environment, engineering documentation for all product lines, and product review and testing
Work in collaborative environment
Initiating product design and innovation
Ensure that products comply with all applicable codes and regulations
Determining feasibility of manufacture and modifications necessary to alter construction of a specific product to accommodate customer requirements
Supporting engineering staff in testing of new product prototypes, or new design applications to customer specifications
Interacting with customers and meeting their needs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering
5+ years of product development experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
The ability to work closely with other engineers and others, including external customers, in a team environment
Experience with root cause problem solving and driving improvements to designs and processes
Experience with Solidworks and AutoCAD
