Vehicle Fleet Manager
Austin Commercial is a leader in the commercial construction industry, and they are seeking a Vehicle Fleet Manager for their Equipment Group. The role involves management and operational responsibilities of the Equipment Division, focusing on the procurement, maintenance, and overall efficiency of the vehicle fleet.

Responsibilities
Determine optimal size and mix of the division fleet
Procure all vehicles for the Equipment Division
Maintain current industry data on pricing of vehicles, related services, and product development
Disposal and re-marketing of all vehicles
Maintenance of all vehicles/automobiles
Ensure relationships both internal and external are being enhanced with the Equipment Division
Profit/loss and budgeting of Vehicle Operations
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and municipal laws related to vehicles sales, rentals, and related services including all corporate and division policies and procedures dealing with employment, compensation, health, safety, and labor/management relations
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
5+ years' experience in vehicle servicing management
Strong knowledge of vehicle types
Budgeting and financial management skills to handle repair costs, inventory, and service contracts
Experience with maintenance and repair of vehicles, including both preventative and corrective maintenance
Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors and visitors
Ability to learn and apply knowledge of all local, state and national statutes and guidelines regarding vehicle licensing, certifications, permitting and hauling
Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time effective manner
Proficiency in general office software (Microsoft Office Suite, etc.) for reporting and administrative tasks
Proven experience managing a service team and/or repair crew
Experience with procurement, terms and conditions
Ability to travel to various project sites across the North Texas Region
Requires working outdoors at times in the rain or snow and during cold, warm, and hot temperatures
Must be able to work on call as needed

High school diploma, GED, or vocational training/certification, Valid driver's license
Preferred
Preferred experience in GPS Telematics monitoring for driver behavior
