Provides patient care services via MRI exams/procedures utilizing magnetic resonance imaging as prescribed by physicians

Applies principals of radiation protection and magnetic imaging safety

Provides patient care essential to MRI procedures

Qualification

MRI proceduresRadiologic technologyARRT registeredBLS certifiedPatient care

Required

Graduate of an AMA accredited radiologic technology program

Must be ARRT registered

Advanced level registry in MR preferred, if not, must be taken and passed within one year of start date

BLS certified

Competency in the science and art of radiologic technology and in the components of magnetic resonance imaging
