Physical Therapist Assistant

NVNA and Hospice is a mission-driven non-profit organization recognized for excellence in home health and hospice services. They are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant to work collaboratively with Physical Therapists to provide in-home physical therapy services to patients, requiring strong communication and clinical assessment skills.

You will work collaboratively with the Physical Therapist to provide physical therapy services to patients in their homes
You need to have strong communication skills for effective patient care management between the PT and PTA

Qualification

Massachusetts PTA LicensePTA experienceClinical assessment skillsHomecare experienceComputer skillsCommunication skillsOrganizational skillsTime management skills

Required

Current Massachusetts Physical Therapy Assistant License in good standing
2+ years of PTA experience required
Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to prioritize and triage patients
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work within a team structure
Excellent organizational skills and time management skills
Ability to work independently and understanding of how to access resources for patients
Strong computer skills
Ability to work full-time, either 32 or 40 hours per week

Preferred

Prior homecare experience preferred
