Quality Final Inspector

Precision Aviation Group (PAG) is a leading provider of maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services in the aerospace and defense industries. The Quality Final Inspector will perform final inspections and airworthiness determinations of aircraft components to ensure compliance with FAA regulations and company standards.

Responsibilities

Perform final inspection of aircraft components to ensure regulatory and quality compliance
Verify maintenance documentation, test results, and Airworthiness Directive (AD) compliance
Issue FAA, EASA, and CAAC return-to-service certifications (e.g., FAA Form 8130-3) under Repairman Certificate authority, as applicable
Ensure proper documentation, part tagging, and adherence to FAA Part 145 requirements
Support audits, inspections, and corrective action processes

Required

Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet end-of-day deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
Strong understanding of FAA Part 145 regulations, airworthiness requirements, and inspection standards
Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical manuals, work orders, and regulatory documents
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and adapt to changing priorities or workloads
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in all work performed
Proficiency in basic computer skills for documentation, recordkeeping, and regulatory database verification
In-depth knowledge of FAA Part 145 regulations, maintenance procedures, and airworthiness standards
Ongoing training to maintain familiarity with Airworthiness Directives, technical manuals, and regulatory updates
On-the-job experience in aircraft maintenance, repair, or inspection is highly desirable
Authorization and documented training on company-specific procedures, Airworthiness Directives (ADs), and inspection standards
FAA Repairman Certificate (Inspection Authorization) — required to sign FAA Form 8130-3 and approve return-to-service for work performed under the MRO
