Responsibilities

Interview and consult with applicants on moderate to large commercial loan options, terms, and requirements, and cross-sell complementary bank products

Underwrite commercial loans by gathering and analyzing financial documents, evaluating creditworthiness, and compiling comprehensive loan proposals

Approve or decline loans within established credit limits, negotiate terms, and manage the full closing process, including reviewing and executing documentation

Manage a loan portfolio, ensuring high quality by monitoring customer financial conditions, reviewing for trend changes, and taking corrective action as necessary

Actively service and manage the loan portfolio, including identifying and evaluating deteriorating loan situations to minimize losses and handling delinquent accounts

Develop and expand commercial relationships through proactive business development calls and community involvement to achieve sales goals
