Responsibilities
Leading or supporting experimental campaigns on Z-pinch fusion devices
Designing and fielding plasma diagnostics (e.g., Thomson scattering, interferometry, spectroscopy, magnetics, neutronics)
Analyzing experimental and computational data, including error propagation and interpretation
Publishing and presenting scientific results
Collaborating with engineering teams on system integration and experimental setups
Qualification
Required
Strong foundation in plasma physics or related fields
Excited by the challenge of developing fusion energy
Creative problem solver and effective communicator
Thrives in collaborative, fast-paced environments
Areas of Expertise: Plasma Physics, Applied Physics, Nuclear Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science
Preferred
Experience in Fusion Plasma Diagnostics
Experience in Pulsed Power Systems
Experience in High Voltage Instrumentation
Experience in Liquid Metal Systems
Experience in Computational Plasma Modeling
Experience in Experimental Design and Data Analysis
