Responsibilities
Develop and implement tax planning strategies that align with business objectives through collaboration with key stakeholders
Stay updated on tax laws, policies, regulations and industry trends
Analyze business operations, transactions and investments and identify potential tax issues, opportunities and risk management strategies associated with global value chains
Support tax-related matters associated with mergers, acquisitions and divestments
Analyze complex tax issues and recommend practical and strategic solutions
Distill recent legislation and regulations into practical guidance for our tax compliance organization to assist our corporation in complying with an ever-changing and complex tax environment
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5 years of tax planning experience
Minimum of a J.D
Licensed to practice law in at least one state
Preferred
Tax LL.M. preferred
Strong project management skills
Adds value by collaborating effectively with colleagues, clients and other support functions
Shares knowledge to develop capabilities of the whole team
