RN Magnet Program Coordinator

Responsibilities

Developing, implementing, maintaining, monitoring and overseeing the overall Magnet Recognition Program® and the Magnet designation/re-designation process and related programs
Working closely with leadership and staff in executing the Magnet Recognition Program® initiatives
Submitting applications, interim monitoring reports, and Magnet documents (initial and re-designation) based on the Magnet criteria
Developing and implementing organizational strategies and infrastructure to support clinical quality, operational effectiveness, and shared leadership, which are all essential to the Magnet Program®
Acting as a liaison with all departments within the organization to promote nursing excellence and to further the Magnet philosophy

Qualification

Registered NurseMagnet Program CoordinationBLS CertificationManagement ExperienceBachelor's DegreeMaster's DegreeProject Management

Required

Current Florida license as Registered Nurse or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions)
Bachelors Degree from an accredited School of Nursing required
Masters Degree preferred
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
(RN) Registered Nurse
5 years of experience in management/administration managing large scale projects
