Vice President, Enterprise Transformation Office
Children's Health System of Texas is seeking a transformational executive leader for the role of Vice President of the Enterprise Transformation Office. This position will drive the implementation of strategic priorities, oversee project management and performance improvement teams, and ensure the successful delivery of enterprise-wide initiatives.

Responsibilities
Establish and execute the strategic vision for the ETO Project Management and Performance Improvement organization
Partner with internal business leaders to execute CHST strategic imperatives as defined in the Annual Business Plan
Serve as a key member of the CHST executive team on major initiatives, leading agile and adaptable practices to respond to organizational needs
Determine optimal organizational structure for the ETO function to deliver best-in-class performance
Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure proper movement of initiatives through the project management lifecycle
Ensure CHST's portfolio of programs and projects aligns with and executes according to strategic objectives and goals
Manage project schedules, resources, communications, critical issues/risk resolution, and sponsorship across all CHST projects
Establish collaborative working relationships across the organization to meet annual project implementation and performance improvement objectives
Design, lead, and direct comprehensive measurement strategies to evaluate program effectiveness and quantifiable ROI
Set requirements and expectations for ETO tools, templates, and processes; hold team accountable to performance standards
Provide thought leadership and focused attention to ongoing development and deployment of best-practice solutions in project management and process improvement
Collaborate with physician leadership, clinical operations executives, Chief Nursing Officer, Legal Counsel, Finance, and other key leaders to advance best practices
Lead with a mindset of continual improvement for self, team members, and organizational processes
Manage, coach, and mentor a high-performing team while ensuring appropriate talent, professional skills, and resources
Provide orientation, training, continuing education, and development of staff
Qualification
Required
Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience successfully leading project management teams and implementing complex, large-scale projects and process improvement functions
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) - must be obtained by December 2026 or upon hire
Preferred
10+ years leading teams or projects within a healthcare and/or academic health sciences environment, including IT, Construction, and Strategic Projects
5+ years partnering and collaborating with physicians, researchers, and administrators in areas such as grant writing, interoperability solutions, informatics, and electronic collaboration tools
Graduate or professional degree or equivalent experience
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Lean Six Sigma certification
