Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC US LLC is looking for a Technical Instructor II in Orlando, FL. The role involves providing technical training to internal and external customers on HVAC products and systems, including conducting assessments and developing training materials.

Responsibilities

Provide technical training for internal and external customers both on-site and in METUS training centers
Setup, configure and maintain training equipment and information libraries
Conduct on-site assessments of customers’ installation and maintenance functions to determine needs for follow-up training
Participate in the design, development, and/?or updating of training programs and supporting materials such as training guides, practical exercises, assessments, and other handouts consistent with product updates and releases
Assist with the training and qualification process for internal and external Authorized Trainers
Assist with design, layout, equipment selection and periodic inspection of METUS Authorized Training Centers
Manage the upkeep and maintenance of assigned METUS training centers including installed equipment, test equipment and tools and facilities
Provide back-up technical support for internal and external customers when required
Work closely with service department staff to keep up with current issues and solutions
Willing to travel up to 40% for various Company meetings and training both domestically and possibly Internationally
Other Duties as assigned

Required

Associates degree or a minimum of five years technical experience in the HVAC field
Minimum of two years of experience in formal training delivery
Military technical training experience is a plus
Proven experience in troubleshooting complex electronic and refrigerant flow systems
Highly enthusiastic and energetic person capable of building and maintaining customer interest during training
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, and through formal presentations
Comprehensive working knowledge of the tools included in the Microsoft Office Professional Suite
Ability to work remotely and independently with little direct daily supervision
Ability to translate complex thoughts and ideas and communicate them in an easy to understand form
Team player demonstrating METUS core values including a desire to win together, deliver excellence, drive sustainability, focus on execution and learn continuously
