Harmons Grocery is looking for a Central Production Sanitation Associate to maintain strict sanitation standards in their Central Production Facility. The role involves ensuring a clean and safe environment across various areas of the facility while adhering to safety and sanitation procedures.

Responsibilities

Follows established departmental policies and procedures

Handle trash removal and disposal regularly throughout the day, including between production runs

Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, floors, and stocked supplies

Clean and disinfect breakroom areas, including tables, chairs, counters, microwaves, refrigerators, and sinks

Perform routine and deep cleaning of production areas using proper cleaning chemicals and tools

Ensure production areas and equipment are cleaned between products. Equipment can be cleaned in place or may require full breakdown done in the dish rooms

Operate sanitation equipment

Complete required documentation such as allergen change over logs, chemical concentration logs, etc

Cleaning and handling of large equipment including blades, processing discs, hoses, etc

Follow all safety and sanitation procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable sanitation standards (e.g., OSHA, GMP, FDA if applicable)

Complete daily sanitation logs, checklists, and documentation accurately

Communicate any maintenance or safety issues to supervisors promptly

Assists as needed to ensure the success of the store as a whole

Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required

A high school diploma or GED preferred; or any combination of education, experience, and training which provides the following knowledge, skills, and abilities

Excellent organization and planning skills

Previous experience in sanitation, janitorial services, or facility cleaning is a plus

Ability to interpret policies and procedures

Must possess integrity, a positive attitude, be mission-driven, and be self-directed with a demonstrated passion for Harmons' mission and commitment to working collaboratively
