Responsibilities

Perform a variety of adult echocardiography procedures including:

Transthoracic Echocardiogram (TTE)

Limited / Follow-Up Echocardiogram

Lumason Contrast Echocardiogram

Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE) with Cardioversion

Echo-Guided Pericardiocentesis

Prepare and maintain TD100 TEE Scope Cleaning Processor

Collaborate with cardiologists and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient care

Accurately document findings and generate reports through MERGE Echo Reporting System

Utilize EPIC Electronic Medical Record for documentation and coordination of care

Qualification

Cardiac SonographyEchocardiography ProceduresRDCSRCS CredentialMERGE Echo Reporting SystemEPIC EMRBLS Certification

Required

Post-high school specialized training in Cardiac Sonography required

Graduate of an Accredited Cardiac Sonographer Program

Registry eligible at time of hire

RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) or RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) credential required within 12 months of hire

BLS certification required
