Responsibilities
Install and maintain database software, including Oracle 11 and PostgreSQL hosted on AWS Relational Database Service (RDS)
Provide software developers with database schema designs adhering to relational database best practices
Providing corporate applications with DBA consultation and technical support for relational databases
Evaluate and update database designs for better performance
Address integration between databases
Maintain database documents and procedures
Support database security hardening
Address and troubleshoot technical problems
Qualification
Required
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
Requires a Master's Degree and 15+ years' experience. Additional experience in lieu of degree
AWS experience
Prior experience reading and developing solutions to customer requirements
Experience with Oracle, MS SQL, UNIX, PostgreSQL, and Linux
Preferred
Experience with database migration tools such as Flyway
Experience supporting COTS platforms
Experience working with / handling Highly Sensitive Data
