Responsibilities
Assisting physicians by meticulously recording all examination findings in the electronic medical record (EMR)
Completing glasses and medication prescriptions
Ensuring that vital patient education is conveyed to provide comprehensive eye care
Actively participating in the examination process and retaining essential information to create a seamless experience for patients
Qualification
Required
High school diploma
CMSS or Medical Assistant certification required within six months of employment, or a COA within the first year
Solid understanding of medical terminology
Demonstrated knowledge of the proper, safe, and efficient use of medical and office equipment
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced medical facility
Strict adherence to HIPAA compliance regulations
Relevant customer service experience
Capacity to see each patient as an individual, recognizing and meeting their unique needs
