Enterprise Network Manager

They are seeking an Enterprise Network Manager responsible for the full lifecycle of enterprise networking operations, including planning, implementation, optimization, and security integration, while leading complex projects and mentoring junior staff.

Responsibilities
Lead the configuration and troubleshooting of Layer 2/3 switches, routers, firewalls, encryption devices, wireless access points, and associated networking gear
Oversee network control center operations to ensure 24/7 availability and proactive incident management
Design, install, configure, and maintain enterprise LAN/WAN/MAN infrastructures, including IPV4/IPV6, IPSec VPN, and voice/video systems
Guide network modernization efforts, new technology integration, and network architecture strategies
Collaborate with engineering and cybersecurity teams to develop compliant, secure, and scalable network solutions aligned with INFOSEC and COMSEC requirements
Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies, ensuring effective integration with existing systems
Deliver comprehensive documentation for designs, configurations, and system operations
Supervise and mentor junior and mid-level network engineers, promoting a high-performing and collaborative team culture
Translate business and mission requirements into technical networking solutions and support documentation
Participate in security audits, STIG compliance checks, and vulnerability remediation processes related to network assets
Qualification
Required
Must be a US Citizen
Must have an active DoD Top Secret Clearance
Must have a BA/BS Degree in computer science, information technology, or logistics
Ten (10+) years of relevant experience working in IT enterprise network engineering
IAT Level II Certification equivalent or higher per DoD 8570/DoD 8140 (CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, etc.)
Proven leadership in managing complex network environments, including DoD networks
Advanced knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), security standards (802.1X, 802.11, MAC bridging), and media access control systems
Demonstrated experience in network segmentation, traffic management, and secure network architecture design
In-depth knowledge of network tools, monitoring platforms, and documentation best practices
Ability to plan and implement large-scale network configurations and upgrades while minimizing downtime
Must obtain a computing environment certification within 6 months of hire
Preferred
Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) v4 certification
Experience with incident management within the ServiceNow Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) platform
CCIE certification
Familiarity with NIST, STIG, RMF, and Federal Information Systems Controls
Working knowledge of hardware configuration management tools and logistics tracking systems
Experience creating and modifying documentation for technical processes and procedures
Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment
A problem solver and troubleshooter who thrives in resolving complex problems
Strong self-starter requiring minimal supervision
Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
