Responsibilities
A research fellow position is available in the Department of Radiation Oncology
The Mutter lab is seeking a highly motivated, creative, and collaborative post-doctoral fellow
The individual will be interested in basic and translational research training aimed at improving the lives of patients with cancer at Mayo Clinic
The Mutter lab discovers new tumor-specific therapeutic targets and develops novel combinatorial approaches to overcome treatment resistance, such as through manipulation of the DNA damage response and host immunity
The team also investigates new biomarkers of response and resistance to radiation and other cancer treatments
Qualification
Required
Must have a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent doctoral degree in a field deemed relevant by the program
Research Fellow is appropriate for individuals who have completed no more than one prior postdoctoral fellowship, at Mayo Clinic or elsewhere
Preferred
A Ph.D. is preferred
