Responsibilities

Demonstrates advanced knowledge of project complexity to proactively contribute to the overall success of the team by adhering to firm and project goals and standards of excellence in design, execution, and living design
Develops creative and innovative design ideas, concepts, and solutions while participating as an integral member of the design team
Coordinates drawings for schematic design, design development, and construction documents
Analyzes product research and identifies material selections
Takes an active role in crafting client and non-client design presentation sand prepares corresponding materials
Implements a creative approach to complete tasks and responsibilities on projects, within the scope of schedule and budget, in an organized, timely, and consistent way
Reviews work for accuracy, omissions, legibility, and for document compliance in accordance with the Project Delivery Manual
Supports growth of others
Expresses curiosity about the world of design and the industry at large
Takes increasing ownership on tasks within project teams and studio activities
Participates in design reviews, charettes and pin-ups
Keeps open and proactive communication with all and is inspiring within team and designated team leader
Coordinates effectively with partners and consultants

Required

5-8 years of experience in Interior Architecture
Advanced knowledge of project complexity
Ability to develop creative and innovative design ideas, concepts, and solutions
Experience coordinating drawings for schematic design, design development, and construction documents
Ability to analyze product research and identify material selections
Experience crafting client and non-client design presentations and preparing corresponding materials
Ability to implement a creative approach to complete tasks and responsibilities on projects within the scope of schedule and budget
Experience reviewing work for accuracy, omissions, legibility, and document compliance
Ability to support the growth of others
Curiosity about the world of design and the industry
Ability to take increasing ownership on tasks within project teams and studio activities
Experience participating in design reviews, charettes, and pin-ups
Ability to keep open and proactive communication with all team members
Experience coordinating effectively with partners and consultants
Interiors Architecture experience
Proficiency in BIM
Knowledge of building codes
Experience in site analysis
Experience in preliminary design studies
Experience with contract documents
Experience with field measurements
Knowledge of life safety requirements
Experience with specifications
Experience in construction contract administration
Ability in graphic storytelling
Ability in sketching
Advanced knowledge of 2D/3D production software
Advanced Revit skills
Experience with conceptual modeling tools such as Rhino and Grasshopper
Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Adobe Suite
Experience with visualization tools such as Enscape and VRay
Experience with physical modeling tools such as 3D Printing and Laser cutting
Experience with presentation tools such as InDesign and Photoshop
Experience with environmental analysis software such as Ladybug and Climate Studio
LEED GA within 6 months of hire
Professional Accreditation in one area of Living Design (e.g., LEED AP with Specialty, BREEAM AP, WELL AP, SITES AP, Passive House Institute Certified Passive House Consultant/Designer CPHC/CPHD, or ILFI Living Future Accreditation)
Preparing for ARE and active involvement in AXP
Bachelor's degree in architecture or related discipline
