Ultrasound Technologist
ECU Health Physicians is a multi-specialty group with over 600 providers in eastern North Carolina. They are seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to produce ultrasonic recordings of internal organs for diagnostic purposes, while providing care specific to various patient age groups.

Responsibilities
Produces two-dimensional ultrasonic recordings of internal organs for use by the physician in diagnosing disease and studying malfunction of organs
Modifies and delivers care that is specific to the age, growth and level of development of patients including adolescent, adult, and geriatric
Familiar with all Radiologist Protocols for general ultrasound examinations
Qualification
Required
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Two Year Degree Required- or higher
The employee must have an ARDMS registration with current certification or registry obtained within the first six months of employment
A minimum of two (2) years AMA accredited program in radiologic technology or ultrasound
CPR Certification
Preferred
Diagnostic technologist RT( R ), preferred but not required
