Junior Salesforce Administrator / Business Analyst

Responsibilities

Maintain and Optimize Salesforce: Handle daily administration of Salesforce Lightning instances, including user access, profile settings, and security
Build and Customize Salesforce: Create and manage custom objects, fields, page layouts, and use automation tools (Flow, Process Builder, Workflows, Validation Rules) to streamline processes
Provide User Support: Troubleshoot Salesforce issues, offer technical assistance, and ensure smooth system operation for all users
Manage Data Effectively: Perform data imports, exports, and cleansing using tools like Salesforce Data Loader and change sets
Document Salesforce Configurations: Keep detailed records of Salesforce setups and processes for future reference
Gather and Define Requirements: Work with various teams to collect business needs and define project scopes
Translate Needs into Actions: Convert business requirements into clear tasks and user stories
Create Project Documentation: Develop detailed documentation, including requirement specifications, project scopes, user stories/jira cards, user guides, and process flows
Identify System Improvements: Help find opportunities to improve Salesforce by gathering user feedback and analyzing requirements
Facilitate Stakeholder Communication: Assist in managing stakeholder expectations, gathering requirements, and developing process flows and user stories
Work with Senior Team Members: Collaborate with senior Salesforce Administrators and Developers to implement solutions and improvements
Communicate Clearly: Effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels
Participate in Team Activities: Join regular team meetings and share knowledge with colleagues
Attend Local Events: Participate in quarterly in-person Salesforce/Company events and other required meetings within the Klang Valley region

Required

Minimum 1 year of previous experience as a Salesforce Administrator/Business Analyst/Consultant, with strong understanding of Salesforce administration and configuration
Experience working within an Agile environment
Good communication and collaboration skills
Must be based in Malaysia, preferably within the Klang Valley region, to facilitate quarterly in-person meetings and events
Salesforce admin knowledge including permission control, automation tools (e.g., Flow, Process Builder, Workflow)
Experience using tools such as Salesforce Data Loader and change set migration tools
Hands-on experience using flow-chart tools (Lucid Chart, Miro etc.)
Microsoft Office proficiency
Result-driven and oriented with a keen attention to detail
Highly self-motivated and eager to learn
Strong problem-solving abilities and a desire to grow
Ability to learn to tackle business scenarios and deliver solutions
Openness to discussions, team-oriented, with a proactive approach

Preferred

Familiarity with relational databases and SQL (desirable)
Salesforce certifications (desirable)
