They are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Finance & Accounting Specialist to support corporate finance, bookkeeping, and accounting functions while maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with government regulations.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger records

Process invoices, purchase orders, vendor payments, and expense reports

Prepare and review timesheets, labor cost allocations, and payroll in compliance with DCAA/FAR requirements

Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations and financial reporting

Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis activities

Track contract funding, billing, and revenue recognition for multiple projects

Prepare financial reports for management and assist with audits and compliance reviews

Maintain organized and secure financial records in accordance with company policy and regulatory standards

Collaborate with program managers and contracts staff to ensure accurate financial tracking of CLINs, task orders, and deliverables

Utilize QuickBooks, Deltek Costpoint, and related accounting software to manage project financials, generate reports, and ensure compliance with DCAA standards

Identify process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and compliance
