They are seeking a Summer 2026 Distributed Systems Developer Intern to work with technologists and business experts, gaining hands-on experience while contributing to the development of their fixed-income trading platform.

Responsibilities
Build container-based microservices for Tradeweb’s core infrastructure
Optimize matching algorithms
Help overhaul trading applications by leveraging principles from distributed systems, high-performance computing and multithreading
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing an undergraduate or master's degree in computer science, computer engineering or related field
Passion for C++ development
Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and modern C++ techniques
Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to work independently and within a team, own issues and solve them to completion
Preferred
Familiarity with Python, Typescript and/or Bash scripting is a plus
