Mechanical Engineer - Test and Evaluation

Responsibilities

Provide highly technical expertise and guidance in solving complex engineering problems
Perform in all phases of hardware design, development, integration/implementation, and analysis
Plan and conduct engineering feasibility studies for the design improvement modifications and implementation of advanced technologies
Develop standards and guidelines for tasks being performed
Interface with government personnel

Required

Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in mechanical engineering or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience
Strong self-starter with the ability to lead technical efforts and work independently with minimal oversight
Experience with DOD acquisition process, environmental testing, and systems integration testing
Ability to define test objectives, develop test plans and procedures, analyze and interpret test data, and support failure investigations and root cause analysis
Strong technical writing skills, with experience authoring test plans, procedures, and detailed technical reports
Experience supporting test events at government ranges or contractor facilities
Hands-on experience with developmental and qualification testing, including shock, vibration, thermal, and other MIL-STD test environments
Proficiency in 3D CAD tools (e.g., Creo, SolidWorks)
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to independently drive tasks and lead support staff or cross-functional teams to successful completion
Must be able to maintain a security clearance at the Secret level
US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location
