Responsibilities

Applies standard techniques, procedures and criteria to perform assigned tasks as part of a broader assignment

Support responses to customer RFIs & RFQs

Support SMPS development for efficient power conversion

Work with cross-functional team members to identify and address critical performance parameters

Develop and implement EMI/EMC compliant and other circuit protection designs including transient suppression, EMI filters and shielding. (Familiarity with MIL-STD-461 required)

Oversee board layout development with special attention to detail

Perform research and analysis for the design and development of new projects with minimal oversight from engineering

Prepare and deliver presentations to clearly communicate technical status, risks, and mitigation strategies for ongoing programs

Support development and updates to engineering drawings, documents, and reports

Support the development of new hardware prototypes to confirm manufacturability and performance levels

Understanding of general electronics terminology and test equipment
