Responsibilities

Provide expertise and data analytical support across the Surface Warfare Enterprise to increase the lethality and tactical proficiency of the Surface Force Provide IMPASS deployment training for unit and Strike Group-level naval fires training program as required in support of FRTP pre-certification and sustainment training

Shall provide support both inport and at-sea, underway, in CONUS and OCONUS, and because the Fleet operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, some support will be required at other than 'normal working hours'. While underway, a normal workday will not exceed 12 billable hours in a day

Shall provide support to SMWDC for a normal 40-hour work week except Federal holidays or when the Government facility is closed due to local or national emergencies, administrative closings, or similar Government directed facility closings

Required

BS degree; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree

12 years military or relevant industry and/or government experience with the surface Navy's combat Systems, C5I networks, weapon systems and IAMD planning tools/systems

Five (5) years of experience aboard Navy cruisers, destroyers, frigates or within qualified Department of Defense warfare areas

Qualified and experienced in a watch station with the authority to employ the Aegis Weapon System (i.e. Tactical Action Officer (TAO), Air Warfare Coordinator (AAWC), Battle Watch Captain)

Possess a Tactical Action Officer Qualification letter or BMD Watch Officer qualification letter

Experience with qualitative and quantitative assessment methods to support war-fighting readiness, capabilities, and capacity evaluations

Experience in post weapons firing mission analysis of Aegis weapon systems

Secret Clearance and (TS/SCI eligible)

10 + years of related experience
