Engineering Coordinator

Responsibilities

Under direction of the Director of Engineering, responsible to maintain proper working relations within the department and with other operating departments on property while providing excellent service to all internal customers
Responsible for communicating effectively with the team by conducting pre-shifts meeting, individual meetings, and meeting with other departments as necessary
Must possess the ability to address HotSOS needs and concerns of our Team Members in Engineering and other areas in a friendly and professional manner. Acts as the primary administrator of HotSOS. Monitors and train staff on use of HotSOS and Streamline
Assist dispatch assigning daily tasks to the Engineering Team Members, and prioritizing based on level of urgency. Tracks work orders-incoming, pending, and completed
Must possess a team player attitude and be able to take direction from engineering management. Provide 100% customer satisfaction within the Team Members’ ability
Abide by all company, HotSOS, and Engineering Policies and Procedures
Complete all assignment requests by management in a professional and timely manner
Attend operational, leadership, staff and financial meetings as required
Communicates directly with Accounting to ensure all invoices are submitted in a timely manner
Responsible for coding all tickets and internal invoices to the appropriate GL code
Cross reference forecasted revenues and work with Engineering Manager & General Manager to schedule appropriate workforce to achieve revenue goal
Continuously evaluate Team Member productivity and identify processes to improve revenue generation

Assist with the inventory contacting 3rd party vendors for non-house repairs and inventory control
Exhibits a professional demeanor through a professional appearance and by maintaining a positive attitude toward all Team Members, members and guests
Maintains effective communication with all parties involved regarding repairs are made in a timely manner
Provide direction and example for interpretation and application of company policies and procedures to the engineering activities
Manage, implement and maintain safety policies and regulations to ensure the staff are in compliance
Manage records and maintains SDS sheets for all chemicals
Enforce OSHA and ADA guidelines and programs
Establish relationships with vendors to assure they provide continual input on new products, systems, etc
Monitor vendors to assure quality, delivery, warranties, exchanges, upgrades, etc. are consistently utilized
Track invoicing and accrual of purchase orders for monthly financial statements
Adhere to Reunion Resort and Golf Club company procedures and policies
Completing any other task/duties assigned

Required

Position requires flexibility in scheduling including AM/PM shifts, weekends, and holidays
Must have attention to detail, strong ability to multi-task, and time-management skills
Office Coordinator experience of at least 2 years is required. Office management/supervisory experience in the engineering field is a plus
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required
Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time. Must be able to complete repetitive motions throughout shift such as reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, etc
Valid driver's license is required
Ability to write reports business correspondence and procedure manuals
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
Build morale and spirit
Instill a guest service attitude to all employees
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs
