Responsibilities

Design, develop, and drive control systems to produce industry-leading products and solutions

Program and debug complex software applications with a variety of platforms

Develop software management documentation, including Software Design Descriptions (SDDs), Software Verification and Validation Plans (SVVPs), etc

Create custom software under PAR Systems' software quality program

Utilize experience, skills, and software tools to track tasks, project requirements, and maintain version control of code

Work closely with Controls Engineers to ensure selected hardware meets project requirements

Participate as a committed team member during all phases of development including onsite integration when required

Required

BS in Computer Science or Software Engineering or equivalent degree

3-8 years of software development experience preferred

Strong organizational and communications skills

Willingness to travel to customer sites to support installation and commissioning of machinery. Typically expect travel not to exceed 10%, but up to 25% travel may be required periodically
