Responsibilities
Analyze engineering drawings, blueprints, and project specifications to determine material, labor, and equipment requirements
Conduct technical evaluations and provide cost-effective solutions for plumbing installations
Prepare detailed cost estimates for bidding and project execution, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure feasibility and budget alignment
Utilize engineering principles to evaluate the most efficient plumbing systems for each project
Apply knowledge of mechanical, civil, or industrial engineering to optimize plumbing designs and reduce costs
Ensure compliance with U.S. plumbing codes, building regulations, and safety standards
Engage with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain competitive pricing and updated material specifications
Support the sales and engineering teams in providing technical guidance to clients and stakeholders
Assist in preparing and reviewing contracts, bids, and project proposals
Stay updated on industry advancements, engineering best practices, and cost trends
Qualification
Required
Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Industrial, or a related discipline) Required for TN Visa approval
Minimum 3 years of experience in plumbing estimation, cost analysis, or related engineering fields
Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and engineering calculations
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or other estimation/design software
Experience interpreting construction blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
Familiarity with U.S. plumbing codes, OSHA regulations, and industry safety standards
Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills
Strong collaboration and teamwork skills in a multidisciplinary environment
Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively with engineers, contractors, and project managers
Detail-oriented with high accuracy in cost estimation and project planning
