Responsibilities
Draft and respond to discovery, including interrogatories and document requests
Organize and summarize records, reports, and documents
Prepare and serve subpoenas for records and depositions
Conduct factual investigations and witness interviews
Support motion practice, depositions, and trial prep
Compile data and calculate damages in Class and PAGA actions
Conduct legal and expert research
Manage case documents and coordinate document production
Qualification
Required
5+ years of legal assistant/paralegal experience
1+ years of litigation experience
Some employment law experience
Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program OR strong employment law experience
Familiarity with State and Federal court rules
Strong knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently
