Responsibilities
Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Information Systems and Cybersecurity
Conduct research in areas related to Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or AI/ML/analytics
Secure external research funding and conduct federally funded research
Publish in top-tier Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or Analytics/AI publication venues
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. in Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related areas (e.g., Information Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, etc.)
Candidates who have not completed their doctoral dissertation (ABDs) will be considered if the requirements for the Ph.D. degree are expected to be completed prior to the commencement of the appointment
Candidates must demonstrate a strong publication record or a potential for publishing in top-tier Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or Analytics/AI publication venues
Candidates must submit: CV with at least three references indicated; Cover letter that describes interest in position and fit between teaching and research experience and the position
Preferred
Demonstrable knowledge and experience in seeking and securing external research funding, and ability to obtain and conduct federally funded research that requires a top-secret security clearance are preferred
Applicants with a specialization in cybersecurity (including technical, organizational, or behavioral research), cyber/data analytics, or AI/ML in cybersecurity are particularly encouraged to apply, but all areas of information systems, cybersecurity, or AI/ML/analytics are welcome to apply
