4+ years expInfo Origin Inc. is seeking a reliable and experienced Mainframe Operator to join their onsite team in Pontiac, MI. This role requires functioning as a Level 1 Incident Manager, triaging and escalating critical incidents across various IT systems while ensuring system uptime and performance.

Responsibilities
Act as Level 1 Incident Manager for critical IT events
Quickly create, escalate, and track technology-related incidents
Monitor mainframe control consoles and system performance
Utilize graphical monitoring systems to track infrastructure availability and health
Collaborate with internal IT staff, customers, and vendors
Perform hardware-related tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs and assigned deliveries
Validate and review mainframe job control language (JCL) as needed
Work flexible shifts, including days, afternoons, midnights, weekends, and holidays
Qualification
Required
Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience as a Mainframe Operator or similar role
In-depth knowledge and at least 5 years of experience using Microsoft Teams
Familiarity with tools such as What's Up Gold, Pingdom, PRTG, IBM Mainframe
Strong incident management and triaging skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed

Onsite presence is mandatory — this role does not allow remote work
Candidates must be willing and able to work varied shifts, including holidays
