Business Development Representative
Identiti is a national leader in signage, facility services, and brand implementation solutions, recognized on the Inc. 5000 list as one of the fastest-growing private companies. The Business Development Representative role focuses on lead generation and connecting with decision-makers through various outreach methods, ultimately paving the way for a transition into an outside sales position.
Responsibilities
Making outbound calls to prospects through cold calling, connecting through emails, and social media
Lead generation to connect with decision-makers and qualifying the business at enterprise accounts
Using ABM approach to create relationships with multiple prospects per account
Communicating persuasively and successfully with the company gatekeepers, overcoming objections
Effectively tracking all relevant details and activity into Identiti’s CRM
Host prospect presentations and schedule meetings on behalf of Identiti Resources
Identify prospect needs and suggest appropriate products and services
Coordinate and set up meetings/calls between prospects and Identiti’s top 2 producing Account Executives
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices, and participating in professional societies. Some events will be funded by the company
Execute prospect nurturing campaigns
Track and report results to Sales leadership on a regular basis
Build networks and spheres of influence to grow prospect lists
Participate in tradeshow events and conferences on behalf of the company
Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
Qualification
Required
Effective communication skills
Excellent presentation skills with the ability to deliver engaging presentations
Quick learner with a passion for sales and an emphasis on excellence
A Self-motivated individual with a results-driven approach with a team-first mentality, a can-do attitude, and a high energy level
Proven track record of meeting and achieving sales goals
Motivated to become an outside sales rep within 1 year
Proficient in the English language
Knowledge of MS Office (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Associate's degree or higher
