Responsibilities

Review and analyze inventory and cost of sales transactions for accuracy and completeness
Reconcile general ledger accounts. Assist in month end closing
Compare actual costs to budgeted costs and analyze variances
Partner with Purchasing on pricing and quantity discrepancies (invoice vs. PO)
Create journal entries, review detailed transactional data, and provide guidance to colleagues on proper transacting in accordance with divisional performance metrics, review, and analysis of transactions and balances affecting the balance sheet and trial balance
Assist Accounting Manager with cost and inventory related analysis and internal/external audits
Participate in various ad hoc projects as required
Perform duties utilizing Visual Manufacturing integrated ERP software, MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and Power BI

Required

An Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration Bachelor's degree preferred
1+ years of General Accounting/Cost accounting experience within a manufacturing environment working with cost and inventory
Strong MS Excel Skills (VLOOKUP, Indexmatch, Sumifs, Pivot tables) & experience with Power BI
Understanding of general ledger accounting functions, estimations, variances, and experience with ERP/MRPs
Visual Manufacturing integrated ERP software experience is a plus
Familiarity with CAS, FAR preferred
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a 'U.S. Person' as defined by 22. C.F.R. 120.15 is required. 'U.S. Person' includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee
