School Psychologist
ServingSchools is seeking a compassionate and skilled School Psychologist to join their dedicated Special Services team. This position plays a vital role in supporting the academic, emotional, and social growth of students through assessment, collaboration, and intervention.
Education
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to determine student needs and eligibility for services
Collaborate with teachers, families, and administrators to develop individualized supports and evidence-based interventions
Participate in the development and implementation of IEPs and 504 Plans
Support student mental health, behavioral interventions, and positive school climate initiatives
Provide consultation, training, and crisis response services to staff and students
Help shape a districtwide culture that values inclusion, safety, and student well-being
Qualification
Required
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
Valid Maine School Psychologist certification/license and CHRC (Criminal History Record Check)
Strong understanding of special education law (IDEA, Section 504) and the IEP process
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
Experience with psychoeducational testing, behavioral supports, and evidence-based interventions
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality, ethics, and professionalism
