Responsibilities
Support the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of Windows-based systems within a secure, mission-critical environment
Assist in system installation, patching, and performance monitoring across classified networks
Managing day-to-day Windows operations
Monitoring system performance
Identifying potential issues to maintain consistent uptime and efficiency
Respond to user incidents
Provide Tier II-level troubleshooting
Document resolutions to ensure repeatable and efficient processes
Maintaining accurate records of system performance metrics
Assisting with Active Directory and Group Policy management
Supporting cloud-integrated environments such as AWS
Contributing to developing user training materials and onboarding documentation for new personnel
Qualification
Required
Experience supporting Microsoft Windows Server and workstation environments, including patching, imaging, and configuration management
Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy, and basic PowerShell scripting
Experience supporting AWS or hybrid Windows-to-cloud deployments
Understanding of IT best practices in high-availability, security-sensitive environments
Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, matrixed environment
Active Security+ certification
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
Familiarity with federal IT environments, acquisition processes, or government contracting operations
Exposure to DoD or Intelligence Community systems and related compliance standards (e.g., DISA STIGs)
