The Accounts Payable Associate is responsible for managing the receipt and accounting of funds, ensuring invoice accuracy, and following proper accounting procedures.

Responsibilities
Ensures accurate and timely recording of payables, including review of all incoming invoices
Research and resolve payment discrepancies
Processes credit card payments and credits
Make account adjustments, as needed
Manage and process new supplier account setup
Prepare manual deposits on a weekly basis
Prepares weekly reports for the Accounting Manager and/or Controller, as required
Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Comply with all company policies and procedures
Requires regular, predictable and punctual attendance
All other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Associates degree in Accounting, preferred
A minimum of two to three years of prior experience in accounting or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Relevant experience in accounting with understanding of GAAP
Exceptional time management, follow-up, analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent organizational skills with great attention to detail
Excellent communication skills – oral and written
Ability to identify issues, problem solve and follow-up to ensure corrective actions are implemented
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products required (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and Internet applications
Preferred
Associates degree in Accounting, preferred
Experience with Microsoft Navision and Dynamics, preferred
