Sr. Content Strategist & Copywriter
Your Creative People is seeking a Sr. Content Strategist & Copywriter to join their Strategy & Messaging Team. The role involves developing brand messaging and content strategies that resonate with target audiences, enhancing the YCP brand, and managing digital marketing campaigns to drive engagement and leads.

Responsibilities
Establish, systematize and automate YCP’s inbound lead generation process and email/video response followups
Re-focus all content on a new YCP website on our audience and the communication of our unique value offering
Enhance the YCP brand through better, targeted content for increased engagement across our social channels
Create vertical-targeted social, organic, and pay-per-click campaigns that effectively drive leads (ex. recruiting, sales campaign for video, our software platforms, etc.)
Craft headlines and copy for collateral and sales presentations (digital and print)
Write mission, vision, value proposition, and positioning statements as well as competitive advantages & brand story
Name (company and product) and create taglines for ad campaigns
Write engaging, audience-focused content across websites, social media channels, email marketing newsletters, pay-per-click ads, and blogs
Optimize web content for best search engine performance and keyword ranking
Create conversion-focused landing page copy
Set up and manage pay-per-click (e.g., Google Adwords) campaigns
Manage social media channels to increase brand awareness, further customer engagement, and generate new leads
Analyze and report ROI on campaign performance including SEO, pay-per-click ads, and social media
Work in conjunction with the video team to develop scripts and the unique story/message of each video
Complete editorial review of content pieces, advertising messages, and video scripts
Qualification
Required
3+ years of agency experience in copywriting
Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or related field
Inbound certification
Conceptual thinking / problem solving (analytical)
Conversion-focused content writing & story writing
Strong grammar, creative writing, and editing skills
Strong project management and leadership skills
