Responsibilities

Plan process flow, equipment layout, and line balancing
Design/source tools, templates, jigs, and fixtures based on engineering requirements
Work with other engineering functions, external vendors and service providers
Prepare production floor layouts to meet planned takt time and schedule
Review engineering drawings and 3D models to understand manufacturing process requirements
Lead manufacturing improvements, process changes, and technology changes
Develop standard work instructions using Timer Pro

Required

Bachelors Degree in Industrial, Electrical, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering
5+ years of technical experience in a manufacturing environment including assembly, welding and coatings
Experience with 2D & 3D CAD systems, ERP systems, and manufacturing execution software
Experience in production line environment preferably in rail or aviation
Strong project management skills, including developing project plans, timelines, budgets
Practical knowledge of lean principles to reduce waste
A hands-on approach to problem-solving and countermeasure implementation
