Commercial Relationship Manager 3

They are seeking a Commercial Relationship Manager 3 who will be responsible for developing and managing commercial business relationships, evaluating and structuring commercial loans, and providing a consultative banking approach to clients.

Responsibilities
Develop and maintain commercial loan relationships in a loan portfolio
Establish and maintain involvement in local civic and community organizations with a preference on leadership roles
Develop and maintain relationships that present commercial loan and deposit opportunities
Process commercial loans and analyze and screen loan requests for all types of loans
Gather related financial and general business information, perform financial analyses needed to make credit decisions and communicate with prospects and customers to close opportunities
Analyze the credit history of applicants and determines their loan repayment capabilities
Negotiate credit terms, such as costs, loan repayment structure and collateral specifications
Develop and maintain interest rate structure to be consistent with financial institution policies and procedures and to be competitive with current market rates
Evaluate potential customer loan requests and make loan recommendations to management
Package loans and recommend loan terms and conditions with support from the Credit Department
Develop broader knowledge base of commercial and other products and services, including loan policy, documentation, structuring and regulatory requirements
Responsible for managing problem loans within a portfolio
Responsible for clearing documentation and financial exceptions
Continue developing and growing network of referral sources for new business
Facilitate business development activities such as calling on prospects and being present within the community
Make retention and business development calls on existing and potential new clients
Manage commercial lending portfolio independently with support from Market President
Represent the financial institution at various civic and community functions
Work on projects and committees as needed

Comply with regulatory rules and regulations evidenced through successful completion of training and demonstrated ability
Perform other duties and/or special projects as appointed by management
Physical Requirements: primarily sitting with some standing, walking, lifting and bending
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a related business field or 4 years of related experience
10+ years of experience managing commercial banking relationships to include loan production and other financial services
Extensive understanding of technical aspects of business underwriting, loan structure, and deposits
Extensive understanding of credit and finance
Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking, analysis and reporting of financial data
Ability to maintain confidentiality, maintain high integrity and adhere to the institution's privacy policies, regulations and procedures
Ability to travel across the company footprint
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams
