Responsibilities

Document detailed records of maintenance and repair work performed
Always maintain training currency
Lays out, locates, fits, trims, assembles, and installs parts assemblies and skins where dimensions are critical and fitting is to exacting tolerance
Drill, countersink and rivet exterior skin panels where skin quality is critical. Works from all types of complex blueprints, E.O.'s and production illustrations
Completes inspection of existing aircraft structures
Completes any or all structural rework/repair, squawks, and E.O.'s
May be required to work in confined space
Fabricate detail parts from blueprint or engineering instructions
Perform aircraft inventory, acceptance, and inspections

Required

Five (5) years of documented experience in aircraft structural installation, modification, troubleshooting and repair
Ability to read and interpret aircraft technical orders, drawings, and blueprints
Always maintain training currency
Must be self-motivated and have the ability to schedule job tasks to meet completion timeline
Ability to communicate effectively
Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Must be able to obtain and maintain in force a valid driver's license
Must be a citizen of the United States of America
Must be able to pass a stringent background investigation
Must be able to utilize computer-based systems to perform duties
Must be able to work Independently and safely
Must be willing/able to work any shift or schedule
Some travel possible, up to 25%

Heavy C-130 structural modification/inspection experience preferred
