Senior Strategic Research Analyst
The Strategic Organizing Center (SOC) is a mission-focused organization that develops strategies and implements tactics on transformational campaigns to confront corporate power. They are seeking a Senior Strategic Research Analyst to lead research projects, shape campaign strategy, and execute campaign tactics in collaboration with various teams.

Responsibilities
Contribute to innovation in the SOC’s approach to research and campaign strategy
Develop and test new tools, theories and strategies in coordination with SOC leadership
Examine market and industry trends, analyze the strategies of key market players and track relevant policy and legislative developments
Design and execute comprehensive research plans
Conduct both qualitative and quantitative research using a wide variety of resources and methodologies
Draft and edit written work products for a wide range of internal and external audiences
Coordinate, review and support the research and written work of junior analysts assigned to specific projects
Provide feedback to team members in support of their skill and professional development
Participate in campaign field activities with unions, workers and coalition partners
Qualification
Required
Commitment to Social Change: A strong dedication to social justice and workers' rights
Research Skills: Proficient in strategic corporate research using a variety of quantitative and qualitative sources and methods
Writing and Editing Expertise: Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to create clear, compelling, and succinct content that resonates with diverse audiences
Legal and Regulatory Familiarity: Knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks relevant to workplace issues and demonstrated ability to learn new legal and regulatory regimes efficiently
Team Collaboration: Experience working effectively as a coordinator and/or team member across functional and organizational lines
Mentorship and Development: Demonstrated experience training, developing, and coordinating the work of junior staff members
Attention to Detail: Strong analytical thinking and meticulous attention to detail
Excellence and Continuous Learning: Dedication to maintaining high standards of work and a commitment to ongoing personal and professional development
Time Management: Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines efficiently and effectively
BA/BS degree or higher
4+ years of conducting research, including financial and corporate research
3+ years of experience with union, political or community organizing
Preferred
Spanish and/or other non-English language skills a plus
