Responsibilities
Inspecting Construction Work: Ensuring adherence to plans, specifications, and codes
Coordinating and Managing Inspectors: Supervising and directing lower-level inspectors
Maintaining Records: Keeping detailed records of daily operations and significant events
Monitoring Work Zone Traffic Control: Ensuring compliance with FDOT's Work Zone Traffic Control Plan
Inspecting Materials: Verifying that materials entering the work site meet project requirements
Performing Inspections: Conducting field inspections and maintaining records
Performing technical assignments: field surveying and construction layout, marking, and checking engineering computations, inspecting construction work, and conducting field tests
Project Administration Manual: Familiarity with and adherence to the Construction Project Administration Manual (CPAM)
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma/Equivalent plus 4 Years or more of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education of Roadway or Bridge construction
Valid U.S. Driver's License
