Center Administrator
hireneXus is a PE-backed national specialty physician group, and they are seeking a Center Administrator for their vascular access surgery center. The role involves overseeing day-to-day clinical and operational management, ensuring quality patient outcomes, and adhering to regulatory standards.

Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day leadership to center staff, fostering high-quality performance, teamwork, and accountability
Develop and manage staffing plans, schedules, and coverage strategies to ensure operational continuity
Review and approve timecards, conduct performance evaluations, and lead employee development and coaching initiatives
Communicate and reinforce policies, procedures, and safety standards across the center
Oversee patient scheduling to ensure efficiency, timeliness, and adherence to clinical protocols
Serve as the primary lead for Joint Commission accreditation readiness, ensuring full compliance and survey preparedness
Cultivate a positive, collaborative workplace culture focused on professional growth, engagement, and patient-centered care
Lead operational growth as patient volume scales from 12 to 20 patients per day
Manage operational transitions associated with facility expansion, including additional operating rooms and PACU bays
Partner with regional and corporate leadership to manage budgets, inventory, and effective resource utilization
Negotiate and manage vendor relationships to optimize pricing, supply availability, and service quality
Ensure ongoing compliance with all applicable state, federal, and accreditation requirements, including OSHA, CMS, ARRA, and The Joint Commission
Maintain accurate operational, safety, and compliance documentation and reporting
Act as the primary operational liaison to the Medical Director and physician partners, supporting seamless clinical and administrative collaboration
Build strong, trust-based relationships with physicians, serving as an advocate for patients, providers, and staff
Support clinical teams in delivering high-quality patient outcomes within a vascular access specialty environment
Promote a positive and professional work environment through clear communication and effective leadership
Collaborate with physicians, regional operations leadership, and managing partners to advance facility operations and strategic initiatives
Qualification
Required
Minimum 5 years of direct ASC leadership experience as an Administrator, Operations Manager, or similar operational leadership role managing day-to-day facility operations
Must have hands-on experience overseeing ASC operations, NOT clinic management or business office/billing roles
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, physicians, staff, and regulatory agencies
P&L management experience
Preferred
Experience with Joint Commission accreditation preparation or maintenance strongly preferred
Local candidates strongly preferred (Houston/Texas area)
Nephrology or dialysis patient population experience is preferred but not required
Clinical background (RN, LVN, etc.) is a plus but not required given the focus on ASC operational leadership experience
