The Ultrasound Technologist will perform a variety of ultrasound exams, communicate findings to radiologists, and maintain a safe and efficient work environment while floating between locations in Suffolk County.

Responsibilities
Perform a wide range of ultrasound exams, including general, vascular, cardiac and small parts in an outpatient setting
Prepare preliminary written impressions and communicate results to radiologists / cardiologists
Maintain and document regular equipment maintenance
Review and execute current lab protocols and assure emergent tests are expedited
Assist doctors with outpatient-related procedures/biopsies
Follow and understand all radiology policies and procedures
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Demonstrate excellent communication, organization, and computer skills
Must be willing and able to float throughout Suffolk County locations
Qualification
Required
Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program or equivalent
RVT and/or ARDMS (AB) certification required
Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience
Preferred
Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred
RDCS/Echo experience is a plus
