Postdoctoral Fellow, Pediatrics Nephrology
Tulane University is seeking an outstanding candidate for a post-doctoral position in the El-Dahr Lab at the School of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics, Section of Nephrology. The role involves conducting research on the epigenetic regulation of kidney development and diseases, requiring strong scientific writing and communication skills, as well as the ability to design and evaluate experiments.

Conduct research on the epigenetic regulation of kidney development and diseases
Design and evaluate experiments
Develop new ideas that promote current research
Contribute toward the preparation of scientific manuscripts under the direction of the Principal Investigator
Train and supervise research staff and students
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. in the field of cell/developmental biology or related field
Demonstrated productivity in related fields
Excellent scientific writing ability
Strong oral communication skills
Ability to work effectively and collegially
Ability to design and evaluate experiments
Ability to develop new ideas that promote current research
Ability to contribute toward the preparation of scientific manuscripts under the direction of the Principal Investigator
Preferred
Experience in imaging
Experience in scRNA seq
Experience in cell/tissue culture
Experience in mice handling
Knowledge of R programming or bioinformatic tools
