Research Analyst (BioAnalytical-Small Molecule in Hoffman Estates, IL)
CMIC, Inc. is seeking an experienced Research Analyst for our small molecule group. The role involves conducting bioanalysis method validation and sample analysis in support of nonclinical and clinical studies, as well as method development.

Responsibilities
Understand and comply with GLP requirements and follow Methods, Plans and SOP/SWPs and related lab procedures; comply with safety policies, comply with company policies
Use and properly maintain lab instrument and equipment appropriately for assigned tasks
Conduct Bio-analysis validation and sample analysis utilizing LC/UV/FD Platforms, LC-MS/MS Platforms (Sciex)
Conduct method development under supervision
Prepare worksheets
QC the Plans, Methods and Reports
Data processing and table preparation (i.e. QC data and preparation, data integration, raw data printing, preparation of chromatograms for the report, use of Watson LIMS, etc.)
Maintain accurate records of work and study documentation per Good Documentation Practices as per company SOPs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required
Minimum of 1 year Industry experience in bioanalytical method validation, analysis, and/or sample preparation/extraction methods (i.e. blood, plasma, urine, tissue)
Use and maintain lab equipment appropriately for assigned tasks
Understanding of relevant scientific principles with proper lab skills
Maintain quality execution and work
Proficient troubleshooting skills
Ability to handle confidential information
Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills
Good team player
Effective time management skills: complete work in a timely manner (i.e., maintain timelines)
Preferred
Master's Degree or PhD (Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry or a closely related field)
