Responsibilities

Assist in the setup and maintenance of trust accounts, including document preparation and client communications
Support the processing of trust transactions, distributions, and investments, ensuring compliance with fiduciary standards
Aid in the retention of client relationships by being responsive to client servicing needs
Participate in client meetings and discussions, taking notes and assisting in the follow-up of action items
Monitor trust accounts for unusual or suspicious activity and escalate potential issues to the appropriate authorities
Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in trust processing operations
Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing activities, including account reconciliation and reporting
Stay informed about changes in trust laws, regulations, and industry best practices, and ensure compliance with all relevant requirements
Opportunities for advancement based on performance, ongoing education, and mastery of trust administration responsibilities
Provide support and assistance to trust officers and other team members as assigned by management

Required

Strong background or interest in trust administration, finance and/or banking
Assist in the setup and maintenance of trust accounts, including document preparation and client communications
Support the processing of trust transactions, distributions, and investments, ensuring compliance with fiduciary standards
Aid in the retention of client relationships by being responsive to client servicing needs
Participate in client meetings and discussions, taking notes and assisting in the follow-up of action items

Employment will be contingent upon the passing of a background check and the passing of a drug test

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business (preferred) but not required
At least one year of experience in financial services or trust administration
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to simplify complex concepts
Strong ability to manage time and prioritize tasks
Background in working with high-net-worth individuals and families with complex trusts and estates
Experience handling sensitive family dynamics paired with empathetic conflict resolution
Advanced organizational skills and high attention to detail
Proficiency with trust accounting software, document management software, and Microsoft Office Suite
History of working directly with customers in a face-to-face setting
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Previous management or leadership experience
