MRI Technologist I

Responsibilities
Cares for patients while operating equipment to produce high quality images for radiologist interpretation
Responsible for EMR/PACS navigation, general patient care, positioning patients, providing procedure information and executing proper imaging protocol/technique for all examinations
Complies with all regulatory requirements in providing safe and appropriate care
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma/ GED
Graduate from accredited school of Radiologic Technology or MRI accredited program
Must be ARRT eligible
BLS American Heart Association
ARRT (MR) Advanced certification in MRI or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) one year after hire if not currently registered
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software
Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented
Preferred
2 years radiography experience
1 year MRI experience
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R)) registered
